Cricket Data Analyst – Intern (India, UK, Global)
Are you passionate about cricket and data? Ball2Data is offering an opportunity to dive deep into the world of cricket analytics through real-time projects across international formats and leagues.
As a Cricket Data Analyst intern at Ball2Data, you’ll work with a global team to generate insights for fantasy sports, betting trends, match previews, and scouting reports. You’ll contribute to live projects where performance, precision, and passion come together.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and manage large cricket datasets (IPL, T20 Internationals, SMAT, etc.)
- Analyze player stats, recent form, match-ups, and venue-based performance patterns
- Support predictive modeling and fantasy team optimization with ML teams
- Build dashboards or statistical summaries using Excel, Google Sheets, or Python
- Collaborate with global team members in media, AI, and scouting
- Prepare player reports, matchup breakdowns, and performance rankings for different formats (T20I, ODI, Test, franchise leagues)
What You Will Learn:
- Real-world cricket data analysis and reporting
- End-to-end understanding of fantasy sports and betting logic
- Use of AI tools and agents in sports analytics
- Working across departments: content, tech, and research
