ABOUT THE ROLE
A structured placement opportunity for university students studying data science, statistics, computer science or sports science. You will work on live cricket analytics projects for our partner clubs — tagging ball-by-ball data, building performance reports and supporting the senior analyst team. This placement counts towards your degree credit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tag and validate ball-by-ball cricket match data
Build performance reports for partner clubs
Support the senior analyst team on deliverables
Contribute to data quality control workflows
Present findings to club coaching staff
REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in a UK university degree programme
Placement must count towards your degree credit
Studying data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science or sports science
Strong analytical and communication skills
Passionate about cricket and sports analytics
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with Python, R or SQLKnowledge of cricket scoring and formatsPrevious sports coaching or playing experience
