ABOUT THE ROLE
A structured placement opportunity for university students to work on live football analytics projects. You will tag event-level data, build performance reports and support club analytics deliverables — all counting towards your degree credit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tag and validate event-level football match data
Build performance reports for partner clubs
Support the senior analyst team on deliverables
Contribute to opposition scouting reports
Work with platforms such as Wyscout and StatsBomb
REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in a UK university degree programme
Placement must count towards your degree credit
Studying data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science or sports science
Strong analytical and communication skills
Passionate about football and sports analytics
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with Python, R or SQLFamiliarity with football analytics platformsPrevious football coaching or playing experience
