ABOUT THE ROLE
A structured placement opportunity for university students to work on rugby analytics projects. You will tag physical and technical performance data, support club deliverables and contribute to Ball2Data's growing rugby intelligence platform — all counting towards your degree credit.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tag and validate rugby match data — tackles, carries, territory
Support the senior analyst team on club deliverables
Contribute to ACWR and physical performance tracking
Build match performance reports for partner clubs
Assist with research and methodology development
REQUIREMENTS
Currently enrolled in a UK university degree programme
Placement must count towards your degree credit
Studying data science, sports science, statistics or computer science
Strong analytical and communication skills
Passionate about rugby and sports analytics
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with Python, R or SQLKnowledge of rugby union or rugby leaguePrevious sports science or performance analysis experience
