ABOUT THE ROLE
Every intelligent system starts with intelligent data. As a Sports AI Annotator at Ball2Data, you will be the eyes behind the models — annotating, structuring and quality-checking sports footage and datasets that feed real-world AI applications across cricket, football, rugby and volleyball. Precision is everything here. This is a fully remote internship and project-based role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Annotate sports footage — player positions, ball tracking, action events
Structure and label datasets for AI and computer vision model training
Quality-check annotations for accuracy and consistency
Follow annotation guidelines and contribute to improving them
Work across multiple sports — cricket, football, rugby, volleyball
Collaborate with the computer vision engineering team
Meet project-based deadlines with high accuracy standards
Document annotation decisions and edge cases
REQUIREMENTS
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy standards
Understanding of sports — at least one of cricket, football, rugby or volleyball
Comfortable working with video footage and annotation tools
Reliable internet connection for remote work
Available for project-based flexible hours
Strong English communication skills
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with annotation tools such as CVAT, Labelbox or RoboflowBackground in data science, computer science or sports scienceUnderstanding of machine learning and AI conceptsExperience with multiple sports
